What is an Order Processing Contract (OPC)?

As soon as you as a merchant transfer personal data to third parties for processing, he is jointly responsible for the security of this data. The principles of how wallee processes data, for what purposes and above all how these are secured are set out in the appendix to the General Terms and Conditions in the order processing contract.

Do I need an Order Processing Contract?

If you as a company have a registered office in the European Union (EU) or process personal data of EU citizens, then the GDPR also affects you. You must then also conclude an Order Processing Contract (OPC) with wallee in order to comply with data protection law. To make it easier for you, we have integrated the OPC as an appendix to our GT&Cs.
